Starting in Q1 2025, we will begin implementing Lantech Secure Verification, a tool designed to:
- Verify your identity during support interactions.
- Securely share sensitive information like new passwords via expiring, secure links.
Why this matters:
The risk of impersonation attacks is higher than ever. Threat actors are increasingly targeting support desks and IT teams to gain unauthorised access to sensitive data. The level of sophistication being used such as voice cloning is posing significant risk. To safeguard your organisation, we are rolling out a new feature: Lantech Secure Verification.
How it works:
- Identity Verification
When you contact our support team, we will verify your identity using one of the following methods:

- Microsoft Authenticator push notifications – (Primary Method)
- Email verification
- SMS notifications

This ensures that only authorised individuals can access or request changes to sensitive accounts.
- Traceless Links for Sensitive Data
When sharing information like passwords, we will use secure links with the following features:

- Time-limited: Links expire after being viewed or after a set period.
- No trace left: Data is not stored in email, chat logs, etc once accessed.

These links will always include Lantechgrp.com. in the URL.

Phishing attacks have evolved. While traditional scams target individuals, newer tactics aim to impersonate clients when interacting with IT teams. We’re proactively addressing these risks to protect your accounts and data.
